Whilst the playing squad and management team are enjoying a well earned break, it's been a busy time here at Kingy's in preparation of the 2024-25 season.
Smartcut Ltd have done a fantastic job so far on the Kingys playing surface, the work including:

8 cm verti-drill
110 tonnes of sand
Re-seeding
Fertilising

There are noticeable improvements already on the pitch, which has also levelled out thanks to the sand, as well as benefiting from superior drainage.
We expect it to be in top condition for our first home pre-season friendly with Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday 13th July.

Thanks to our team of amazing volunteers, plenty of other jobs have been completed:

Dugouts deep clean
Stand deep clean
Barriers painted
Stadium bar & tea shack sadelin coated
New notice board installed in the Pavilion Bar
Dressing room reception area revamp

In the Pavilion Bar, we are humbled by the support of Spa Decorators and KB Decorators who respectively supplied paint and re-painted all the walls, so we are looking fresh and ready to go ahead of the 2024-25 season!

Finally, we are very grateful for the support given to our club once again by LDM Renovations Ltd and AQ Kitchens
who have carried out goalpost & stantion base concreting (LDM) and the provision of new cupboard units (AQ Kitchens).

We hope we will never have to use it, but we have also secured a new wheelchair for emergency situations!
