Droitwich Spa got the better of Bewdley Town in a Boxing Day Worcestershire derby at Ribbesford Meadow, keeping up an impressive 100% record over their neighbours in competitive games.
Roared on by a healthy number of away supporters in the 122 crowd, it was the visitors who came flying out of the blocks and Cory Rudd was close to opening the scoring on 2 minutes when his low drive beat Bewdley 'keeper Kai Lloyd but not the base of the woodwork.
Rudd again forced Lloyd into action from a similar position, but Town's stopper saved well through a crowd of bodies.
The Saltmen continued a dominant opening 20 minutes when Dugmore fired wide with better options to pass, before Spa's leading scorer broke the offside trap only to see his effort from an angle went just wide of the far post.
Despite the early threat from Droitwich, it was Bewdley that took the lead on 19 minutes with their first effort on target.
The Spa defence backed off, allowing Michael Bridges to feed Ben Worthington who finished clinically in to Stockton's bottom corner.
The Riversiders weren't ahead for long; on 23 minutes a half cleared free kick fell to Perry Moss who teed up Rudd for a volley which stubbed into the ground and fell kindly for Charlie Tilley to flick a header over Lloyd and in to the roof of the net.
The two sides traded chances for the remainder of the half; a looping Dugmore header was cleared off the line whilst at the other end Ben Worthington, in a similar situation to his goal, forced a fine save from Joe Stockton.
The Bewdley striker then turned provider as a dangerous low cross narrowly missed Lees sliding in at the back post.
The final chance of the half fell to James Lemon, who, with almost too much time and space 12 yards out mis-kicked his effort.
The second half started with Town on the front foot, and on 47 minutes Worthington was a whisker away from putting Bewdley back in front when his flying attempt at a header didn't quite make contact.
The same player then spurned a great opportunity when he chose to volley from a promising position which only found the side netting.
Spa struggled to make any inroads into the home defence until a moment of magic from Perry Moss on 64 minutes turned the game on it's head; some fine control and shot on the turn nestled into the bottom corner.
Lemon could have made it three just two minutes later when he pounced on a defensive mix-up but his powerful effort from distance cleared Lloyd's crossbar.
Will Dearlove came close to levelling things up with a thumping header that went over, before Stockton produced a fine one-on-one save to deny Bewdley top scorer Elliot Lees.
Spa manager Andy Crowther made several changes that freshened up Droitwich going forward in the closing stages and it paid dividends as substitute Josh Hurdman's corner found the head of Dugmore who rose highest to head in for his 23rd goal in 23 games.
The goal which came on 83 minutes knocked the stuffing out of Bewdley, and Spa saw out the remainder or the game comfortably to maintain a 6-point lead at the top of the table.
There is no fixture on Saturday for the Saltmen; Andy Crowther's side are next in action on Saturday 4th January (ko 3pm) with an away trip to struggling Carterton.
